Our experienced and dedicated staff help the children to become successful learners, confident individuals, and caring contributors to society. Children can start at the age of two and stay with us until the age of five. Our spacious classrooms are bright and airy, and provide the children with ample room for all the activities our nursery offers.
Founded and led by Beverly Delfgou for 15 years, The Knightsbridge Kindergarten is more than just a nursery—it’s a foundation for life’s learning journey. Our mission is to create a nurturing, safe environment where young minds develop a love for learning, respect for others, and the confidence to explore the world around them. We pride ourselves on a history of preparing children not just for the next step in their education, but for a lifetime of curiosity and growth.
Our goal is to provide a safe and caring environment, where children can gain a positive approach to school and learning. They will learn to care for, and respect each other, whilst learning how to be part of a group. Good nursery education is crucial to a child’s formative years, and fosters an enthusiasm and confidence that will remain with them throughout their school life.
It is widely accepted that children in this age group absorb and achieve more than at any other stage in their school life, and this makes choosing the right nursery school vital.
Our nursery day begins at 8.45, and parents can drop their children off between 8.45 until 9.15am.
All children attend 5 mornings per week from 8.45am until 12pm. Morning children can also stay for lunch until 1pm. When parents feel their child is ready for a full day, they can stay until 3.30pm.
We also offer ad hoc sessions which can be requested in the morning when children are dropped off. We do our best to accommodate every request.
Our headteacher, Miss May greets the children on arrival and their class teacher then takes them into their classroom for registration.
Children also spend time in our Sensory and Soft Play rooms, as well as the activities you see to your right. Our nursery day is busy, filled with interesting activities, experiments and most of all FUN!

We are proud of our team of highly qualified, experienced, caring teachers who work together to provide a stimulating environment for all children that attend our nursery. Most of our teachers have worked together in our nursery family for many years. The bond they have is exceptional and we are delighted that we have created such a happy and supportive work environment.
Welcome to the Knightsbridge Kindergarten, a family run nursery that values and celebrates each child. We are an inclusive nursery of highly committed staff who provide exciting opportunities for learning in order to foster curiosity and in turn help nurture children to think outside the box.
Nursery years are such a special and important time. As well as being crucial years for children’s development and preparation for life in the modern world, it’s also the place for families to come together. We are part of a strong community who share important values and have mutual respect for one another.
I strongly believe in providing a nurturing environment for children to learn and have meaningful experiences. We look forward to welcoming you to our nursery to witness this for yourselves.
